รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุพิตร สมาหิโต ได้รับเลือกเป็นกรรมการบริหาร OCA ในการประชุมสมัชชาใหญ่ครั้งที่ 44 ของสภาโอลิมปิกแห่งเอเชีย
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุพิตร สมาหิโต ได้รับเลือกเป็นกรรมการบริหารของสภาโอลิมปิกแห่งเอเชีย (OCA) ในการประชุมสมัชชาใหญ่ครั้งที่ 44 ของสภาโอลิมปิกแห่งเอเชีย ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรกีฬาระดับภูมิภาคที่มีหน้าที่ดูแลและส่งเสริมกิจกรรมกีฬาทั่วภูมิภาคเอเชีย รวมถึงการจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาเอเชียนเกมส์และกีฬาเอเชียนอินดอร์-มาร์เชียลอาร์ตเกมส์
ดร.นิวัฒน์ ลิ้มสุขนิรันดร์ อธิบดีกรมพลศึกษา ได้แสดงความยินดีกับ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุพิตร สมาหิโต ในการได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการบริหารของ OCA ในนามของประเทศไทย ซึ่งถือเป็นเกียรติยศสำคัญที่แสดงถึงความสามารถและการทุ่มเทในการพัฒนาวงการกีฬาในภูมิภาคเอเชียของท่าน
สภาโอลิมปิกแห่งเอเชีย (OCA) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2525 มีสำนักงานใหญ่ตั้งอยู่ที่ประเทศคูเวต โดยมีภารกิจหลักในการส่งเสริมการพัฒนากีฬาและการกีฬาในภูมิภาคเอเชีย พร้อมทั้งสนับสนุนคณะกรรมการโอลิมปิกแห่งชาติ (NOCs) ของแต่ละประเทศในเอเชียในการเตรียมนักกีฬาสำหรับการแข่งขันกีฬาโอลิมปิกและการแข่งขันอื่น ๆ ระดับนานาชาติ
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Supitr Samahito Elected as OCA Executive Board Member at the 44th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Supitr Samahito has been elected as a member of the Executive Board of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) during its 44th General Assembly. The OCA is a regional sports organization responsible for promoting and overseeing sports activities across Asia, including organizing the Asian Games and the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
Dr. Niwat Limsuknirun, Director General of the Department of Physical Education, congratulated Assoc.Prof. Dr. Supitr Samahito on her appointment to the OCA Executive Board on behalf of Thailand. This prestigious appointment reflects her dedication and significant contributions to the development of sports in the Asian region.
The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) was established in 1982 and has its headquarters in Kuwait. Its primary mission is to promote sports development and activities across Asia and to support the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of each Asian country in preparing athletes for the Olympic Games and other international competitions.
